Parlington 2007 The Deluge!

A Brief Description of the scenes!

The rains continued throughout the day, 25th June 2007, by early afternoon it was apparent that the small pond, adjacent to Parlington Lane was reaching maximum capacity... eventually it overflowed as the capability of the culverted river crow was insufficient to carry the deluge away. It flooded the area of the former stable yard and then came across the gardens in front of Parlington Hall, then continued roughly following the underground culvert line down the valley! A lot of water!
